Here there are films.
Ktu ka filma. Short film is not a warm-up act. We give it the room, the screen and the audience it deserves.
A space for cinema.
Hapësirë për kinema. Screenings are gatherings first: a place to meet, argue, and stay after the credits.
Tirana, all year.
The festival is four nights in October; NightFlix is the other 361 — curated screenings, special programmes, editorial projects.
Filmmakers first.
Fair terms, clear communication, and a stage for new voices from Albania, Kosovo and the region alongside international work.
Open doors.
Free or low-cost tickets wherever we can. Accessible venues. Programmes written in plain language.
About us
NightFlix is run by a small team of programmers, filmmakers and writers in Tirana, with collaborators in Kosovo and across the region. We curate short film programmes, host workshops and publish Armchair Review, our video review series on Instagram.
The NightFlix Film Festival takes place every October. Its second edition runs 15 – 18 October 2026 across venues in Tirana, with competition programmes, focus strands, talks and late-night screenings.
